My name is Katrin.
I am 33 years old and I love to turn up the music.
Add dancing to this and I feel like coming home.
I believe with all my heart that dance is not just a movement, it's a way of life, an expression, and a celebration of being alive.
In 2022 I started to create Swivelbird - a fashion brand that brings back the swing into your everyday life.

Some years ago I was stuck in a busy life. It was full experiences, yet there was little room to just be. Welcome to my autopilot that was high on a dopamine loop.
Eventually I decided to break the loop and quit my full-time job.
And with that, space was created.
Yet I faced another challenge: the challenge of being. Being with myself, my desires and everything else that came up way to short before.
Hello being human. Hello feelings. 360 degrees of emotions, in all directions. Alive. Frustrated, angry, sad, scared, joy, excitement, bliss, creativity, sensuality, love and so much more.
And with that my emotional compass came back. Telling me where to go. Showing me the direction of my soul.
If I was the last person on this planet I would still turn up the music until the bass connects to the rhythm of my heart and have a dance.
This is how Swivelbird was created. Merging two of my greatest passions. Fashion and dancing. Both are an art form that allow us to express ourselves, fully and raw.
